About this course
The BSc Nursing (Post Basic) programme is a two-year undergraduate nursing programme. Nurses are healthcare professionals who work in hospitals or outpatient facilities, monitoring patients’ medical conditions, dispensing prescriptions, keeping records, and interacting with doctors.
Candidates in the post-basic BSc Nursing programme (also known as PBBSc) get a holistic combination of classroom lectures and hands-on training. Candidates are normally admitted to a programme based on their performance in a written entrance exam administered at the university/institute level.

- Psychosocial Rehabilitation Expert : A psychosocial rehabilitation specialist works with those who are suffering from emotional or mental illnesses. Relationships with family and friends are generally addressed in the treatment of such patients.
- Critical Care Nurse : A critical care nurse is tasked with caring for patients who are critically ill or injured. A nurse in this position examines patients’ medical conditions, performs diagnostic tests, and aids doctors with medical treatments.
A nurse instructor is in charge of the design, development, and delivery of nursing courses in a medical programme. - Paramedic Nurse : A paramedic nurse’s responsibilities include driving and staffing ambulances, responding to emergency 999 calls, and assisting patients in receiving emergency treatment, among other things.
- Nurse Manager : A nurse manager is a professional who assesses and mentors the performance of staff nurses.
